They
have a long bushy tail to wrap around them to help keep them warm. Their ears are large and heavily furred and some have ear tufts know as lynx tips for protection and they have big round tufted feet to serve as snowshoes. Maine Coons develop slowly and don't achieve their full size until they are 3-5 years old; the males have been known to reach 10-15kgs with the females being slightly lighter. |

| They
are considered gentle giants of the cat world.Their dispositions remain
kittenish throughout their lives. they are big, gentle and good natured.
They get along with other dogs and cats and are great with children. They like to follow you around wherever you go. They rarely meow and when they do it is more of a soft chirping trill, which doesn't fit their size. |
